| Anthony (Tony) Booth born 1933 and was an artist on advertizing
specialization. Working in the Liverpool center. Is known in Cavern Club
from its first opening as Jazz Club in 1957th. He created concert
posters for the Cavern Club's opening night. All external advertizing in
the form of the big hand painted posters was his works. And all concert
posters and other advertizing Cavern Club production it was made by it
and on his projects. It is possible to tell that Tony Booth was the
basic and probably the only Cavern Club art designer. Was a popular artist-advertiser in the Liverpool City. Concert Posters to it ordered many others clubs. He was closely familiar with Brain Epstein with which worked door to door with his records shop. Epstein often used services of the artist, also before Epstein's acquaintance with Beatles. |
